Welcome to Open Space on Open Space - August 23-26, 2003 - Bramstrup Denmark!
INVITATION and REGISTRATION
Would you like to be part of the Eleventh International Open Space on Open Space? Open Space facilitators from all over the world are invited to learn and share knowledge together.
As in every Open Space we will create our agenda together and self-organize around the issues we have most passion for. All issues and opportunities of importance to our work with Open Space worldwide, that is of interest to us will be touched and discussed as much as we care to. It will be a great meeting because whoever comes is the right people and whatever happens is the only thing that could have. We will start at the right time and finish when it is over. So be prepared to be surprised.
THE SITE
We have the opportunity to visit Bramstrup (http://www.bramstrup.dk) on the Danish island Fyn. Bramstrup is close to the old town Odense, most famous for the author H C Andersen, who wrote many fairy tales for small and adult children. The venue is situated at a country house (“Herregaard” in Danish) and was planned in Open Space and discussed during OSonOS in Berlin 2001.
WHERE TO STAY
There are different opportunities to choose among. There is a range of hotels nearby, about 8 km´s from Bramstrup. The prices ranges from200 Dkr for a shabby (but clean) single up to too much money. Have a look at the website of the touristoffice in Odense for more info: http://www.odenseturist.dk/lang_dk/html/overnatning/hoteller.htm To enjoy the very special Danish atmosphere Gerard recommends Knudsens Gaard and also Fangel Kro which is cheaper and simpler but a real “Danish Kro”.
If you prefer cheaper and simpler ways of accommodation there are some options: There is plenty of space at the site for those of you who have caravans or tents. There will also be space for 24 persons in a large tent. It is also possible for a few persons to sleep in a house on the farm. If you are staying in the house or the tent, you need to bring a sleeping bag and maybe an inflatable mattress if you need softer surface.
GETTING THERE
Flying: Most airlines go to Kastrup, Copenhagen www.kastrup.dk. You can take the train to Odense directly from the airport, the trip takes 1 hour 45 minutes. On some departures you have to change one time in Høje, Taastrup. Timetables for the trains are at www.dsb.dk/indland/. The easiest way to get from Odense railway station to Bramstrup is to take a taxi.
If you are traveling by car you take exit 51 from the E20. Bramstrup is located a few kilometers outside of Odense.

Saturday afternoon/night is the time to check in and share a meal with friends from all over. The conference starts Sunday morning at 09.00 and is over at 12.00 Tuesday. There will be lunch available before departing.
